Renate Moore is an entrepreneur, author, human & animal rights leader.
In 2003 Renate and her family relocated to North Carolina from New York. After spending many years in the corporate environment with backgrounds in non-profit International Education, Wall Street and Real Estate, Renate could not find her ideal career in her new home- town. Taking the challenges she faced seeking a job, combined with some limited food services she decided to create a business, one that would enhance people’s lives. Being very involved with her children’s schools and activity clubs, she listened as some parents indicate the struggle they face getting their children to read. She recognized that some children needed the proper techniques to help them learn simpler methods which results in improved reading skills. With a passion for education and healthy living, she created her unique business – a gourmet bakery and children’s books store. These services provide quality desserts for all and books to improve children’s literacy. She serves the corporate industry, as well as, individual customers.
Her bakery items are always made fresh with natural, organic ingredients. She has created a literacy program center around her books that allows private and charter schools to implement into their curriculum.
